Farmer Wants a Wife Visits Lake Road Vet
We had a secret to keep! Recently Farmer Wants a Wife came to the hospital to film a session with Farmer Tom and his ladies. They had a great time helping out with our rescue dogs. Farmer Tom fell in love with one or two of our kelpie pups and they now have a new home with him. Our Nurse Ella had a starring role and appeared in the final cut.

Parvo Virus
Parvovirus is a highly contagious and often deadly disease affecting dogs, and recent outbreaks in Wagga have raised serious concerns among pet owners and veterinarians. This virus primarily attacks a dog's gastrointestinal system, causing severe vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration, which can lead to death if not treated promptly. Puppies and unvaccinated dogs are particularly vulnerable. Vaccination is the most effective way to protect dogs from parvovirus, preventing both the spread of the disease and the heartbreak of losing a pet. Ensuring your dog is fully vaccinated is a crucial step in keeping the Wagga dog community healthy and safe.
