Standby Visits Lake Rd Vet
We were very fortunate to have Standby visit and speak to the staff recently. Standby is a government funded organisation that provides support following suicide.
Sadly all of our staff have been impacted by suicide.
Babies Galore!
Last year we welcomed 7 babies. This year we are keeping up the numbers with Surgery Nurse Ivory and Animal Attendant Emma. We managed to fit their baby showers in before their babies made their entrance. Little Elliott and Harley
Meet The Keoughs
Lake Road Veterinary Hospital is a proud, family-owned practice run by Dr. Alex and her husband, Jeremy—both born and raised right here in the local community. Together, they balance their time between caring for animals at the hospital and raising their five children, whose ages range from 20 years to just 11 months.
When they're not at the clinic, the Keough family can be found on their small farm, where they grow crops, breed Dexter cattle, and care for a flock of rescue sheep. During school holidays, it’s not uncommon to see the younger Keough girls helping out at the clinic—often running their beloved rescue shop right from the reception area.
